The sovereign presence of the Seneca Nation, along with its ability to operate businesses, contract with vendors and administer governmental services, creates a mutually beneficial economic impact for the Western New York region as well as for the entire state.

Approximately $1.1 billion of New York’s gross state product, as well as 10,000 jobs and $172.8 million in income, sales, excise, social insurance and other New York State taxes, can be attributed to the Seneca Nation’s entities, including the Seneca Gaming Corporation.

This amount excludes additional revenue from at least 50 other on-territory businesses.
